Job Overview:

Comptran solutions is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Core Java Developer to join our technology team in Alpharetta, GA. This role is focused on delivering high-quality software solutions for a leading client in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have strong Java fundamentals, hands-on experience with backend development, and a background in financial services or similar enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Java applications
Develop and consume web services, including both SOAP and REST APIs
Implement solutions using Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security, etc.)
Work with Java Collections and Concurrency to optimize application performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and performance tuning
Provide production support and resolve critical application issues as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Java development
Strong knowledge of Core Java and Advanced Java concepts
Proven experience in multithreading, collections, and design patterns
Solid background in building and integrating RESTful and SOAP-based services
Experience with Spring Framework (including Spring Boot and Spring Security)
Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred

Mandatory Requirements:

Must be available for an in-person, face-to-face interview in Alpharetta, GA
Must have an active LinkedIn profile created before 2021
Must be able to provide two professional references
